His stage name pays homage to the greats like Scary Pockets, Vulfpeck, Allen Stone, and Lawrence Band, whose influence has left his metaphorical socks charred with stank. Before Adam became Black Sock, he had multiple viral successes on youtube, gained 50M+ streams, competed on The Voice in Australia and The Netherlands. Collabed with international platinum artists and producers and was certified as Tone King by Seal.

But, Black Sock has an affliction. Naturally, his socks are not black. Some people get their socks blown off by food or a good movie. But funky lines are what hit his socks like jet fuel. His socks are black because they are charred with the stank of the great funk and soul artists that came before him.
